| Some new things.
Soren: Calls tea "teeth" and points to his teeth. Loves to say "juice," which has begun to sound like "orange juice." Loves the song "I Love to Eat Eat Eat Apples and Bananas". LOVES watching things on the computer; we have been learning the alphabet, watching educational videos about animals, and kids songs about every other day. His temper/despair is mightily aroused when it is time to quit watching videos. He can identify some of his ABCs by sight and can say them, without me prompting him. Especially loves "B," and if he is guessing at another letter that he isn't sure of, it is also "B". :) Other favorites are O, M (says "me"), R, S, T, P, Y (sometimes calls V Y as well), and Z. Soren got the bad stomach virus others in our family have had, and we think he has just about pulled through. We've had some trying days, but this weekend has been a beautiful and perfect one for our family--lots of good rest and mending, and wonderfully supportive parents downstairs to help us with the children.
Leem: Is crawling and pulling herself up into standing. She loves to be where we are and has a great sense of direction where that is concerned; ie, she remembers which direction we went when we left the room, and she will be crawling after us in about 5...4...3...2...1. Sometimes when we are brushing our teeth in the bathroom, she will crawl to our legs and basically kiss the tops of our feet. If we are stationary, she may crawl through our legs and position herself midway through. She's eating solid food at the table with us--well, we mush it all up, of course. Still catnaps throughout the day, 20-30 minutes is the norm. We're planning to sleep train this week--pray for us! :)
