The Fishers and Masts helped us FisheRhodeses celebrate 5 years of marriage this past weekend in Ohio. Friday (our actual date, March 28), I took off work so we could drive out to Ohio. We dropped Soren off at Mama and Papa Fisher's, and went to a little town called Cambridge, where this lovely old mansion has been turned into Colonel Taylor Bed and Breakfast. We had stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed the chance to return.

Next day, after a long breakfast conversation with a couple who were celebrating their 40th anniversary, we meandered to Columbus and enjoyed perusing at The Book Loft in German Village before an awesome cultural experience and dinner at North Market.

Spending the evening and night with the Fishers (sorry, we forgot to take pictures!), our next destination was the Masts on Sunday morning. Soren enjoyed church with the Mast girls, while Betsy and I enjoyed a little more free time in her old haunts.

Thank you so much Mama, Papa, Laura, Isaac, Tom, Candice, Claire, Eliza, and Si for making this wonderful time for us by taking such great care of Soren! We felt so blessed all weekend! And Soren was a champ--thank you too little buddy!
